Okotsoe Mission conduct educational programmes

Wokha, May 2 (MExN): The Okotsoe Mission Society conducted educational programmes at Koro New Village Baptist Church and Hayiyan Village Baptist Church on April 30.  

According to a press release, the Okotsoe Mission Society (OMS) decided to revive its home mission “having seen the imperative need – spiritually and economically – of the local churches in the Lower Range of Lotha area bordering Assam.”  

The mission focusses on reaching the unreached people groups in India and beyond, through educational programme such as seminars and workshops on various areas of need such as “Work ethic”, “Economic awareness”, “Health and Spiritual awakening” to uphold and encourage them in the spiritual and economic life of the churches, the release stated.  

At Koro New Village Baptist Church, seminar on “Work Ethic” was conducted by Thungchibemo Lotha, Reader, SCERT Nagaland as the resource person.  

At Hayiyan Village Baptist Church, a seminar on “Christian Home” was conducted by Er. KL Merry, former Dy. Chief Engineer, PWD, as resource person.  

Renchamo Ngullie, Asstt. Labour Commissioner, Wokha, shared about the Welfare Scheme for the workers who are engaged in building and other construction works which encouraged the villagers, the release stated.
