Kohima, June 22 (MExN): The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) today said that the registration process for Olympic Day Run 2022 scheduled on June 25 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima is open till June 23.
The positive responses so far have been ‘overwhelming,’ it maintained, while adding that registration is open to all for free till June 23.
Those yet to register and looking to be part of the event may walk-in at NOA office, Kohima for registration before the deadline or may apply online at https://forms.gle/p6wT32LMFdGpjaXB7, it informed.
A confirmation call would be sent out to all the participants as reminder and information of the event on June 24 evening, it added.
Participants who have registered by June 23 are requested to connect with the officials for confirmation in case reminders are not received on June 24, it added.
The Association further said that the running will be held in 6 categories: 600 Meters for Officials and invited dignitaries (Women & Men); 800 Meters for Veterans (Women & Men); 1500 Meters (Open Category Women & Men); 800 Meters (Under 16 Years); 800 Meters(Under 14 Years); and 400 Meters(Under 12 Years) .
Total cases prizes amounting to Rs 1 80 lakh will be given to all categories except 600 Meters for Officials and invited dignitaries (Women & Men), it added.
The participants will receive the Bib numbers’ on June 25 from 08:30 am - 09:30am at the venue and the races will start at 10am onwards based on categories, the NOA said.
Refreshments will be provided to all the participants and they are requested to be at the IG Stadium, Kohima by 8am, it informed.
