Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) — IndianOil, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) — on Saturday assured that the availability of petrol, diesel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) remains “adequate and uninterrupted” across Nagaland.
In a statement issued through PIB Kohima, the companies said the overall fuel supply position in the State remains stable despite prevailing global uncertainties affecting the oil and gas sector.
According to the statement, the entire fuel supply chain including terminals, primary bulk storage depots, LPG bottling plants, retail outlets and LPG distributorships, is operating without disruption.
“Daily dispatches are proceeding on schedule to ensure that every district in the State remains adequately stocked,” the statement added.
The OMCs further stated that they are maintaining close coordination on logistics, stock movement and product replenishment to ensure seamless fuel availability across Nagaland.
The companies also appealed to consumers to continue with normal purchasing patterns and refrain from panic buying or stockpiling.
The public was advised to rely only on official communications issued by the OMCs for authentic and verified information regarding fuel availability.
