One arrested for using forged documents

Kohima, June 17 (MExN): One person has been arrested for producing forged documents during an interview for the post of Supervisor/Wireman License conducted by Nagaland Electrical Licensing Board (NELB) at Zonal Council Hall, Old MLA Hostel, Kohima on June 16.

According to a press release issued by SDPO/PRO (South), Kohima Police, the following documents produced by the candidate Sobir Hussain (31), a resident of Dimapur, were found to been forged – Trade Certificate of State Council for Vocational Training, Directorate of Employment & Craftsman Training, Kohima; Provisional National Trade Certificate, Directorate of Employment & Craftsman Training, Kohima; and Certificate “To Whom It May Concern” issued by Principal, Industrial Training Institute, Mon.

Sobir was arrested on the basis of FIR lodged at North P.S Kohima by official of NELB, Kohima. A regular case vide Kohima North P.S Case No. 0046/2016 U/S 471/511 IPC has been registered against him and further investigation is on to ascertain from where the fake documents were procured, the release added.
