ZUNHEBOTO, AUGUST 1 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Zunheboto district, Dharam Raj, IAS, has issued a public advisory following the confirmation of one case of Japanese Encephalitis (JE) in Thokihimi village under Aghunato Block. In a notice, the DC informed that "1 (one) confirmed case of Japanese Encephalitis (JE) been reported at Thokihimi village under Aghunato Block, Zunheboto District." The public has been urged to adopt both preventive and control measures in their surroundings to prevent further spread of the vector-borne disease. Further, the public is advised not to "rely solely on traditional remedies without medical consultations."
