Dimapur, January 13 (MExN): The Dimapur Police on Saturday informed that one unidentified dead body male (non-local) age around 30-35 years (approx) was found inside the drainage near Faith Hospital, opposite Lotha Assembly of God Church located at Sewak Colony, Dimapur at around 9:40 am on January 13.
The Dy Commissioner of Police (Crime) & PRO, Dimapur in an official update stated that accordingly, inquest conducted over the dead body and it was ascertained that the deceased bore a mark on the forehead and backside of the head, suspected to be hit by a hard blunt object.
“Enquiry was thoroughly conducted in and around the vicinity to identify the deceased but nobody could identify the deceased. On completion of all legal formalities the dead body has been shifted to District Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination and identification,” the PRO informed.
Description of the deceased said the complexion was fair; identification mark - black mole below right ear; wearing blue jean pant, green sweater and green T-shirt.
