Dimapur, November 9 (MExN): Sethrichem Sangtam, Founder of the Better Life Foundation (BLF), Nagaland, was felicitated at the event titled “Incredible India – Travellers’ Paradise”, organised and hosted by Vikram Doraiswami, High Commissioner of India to the United Kingdom.
The event, held at India House, London, on November 6, celebrated India’s diverse and vibrant tourism landscape, informed a press release.
Earlier, on November 3, BLF was conferred the ICRT Global Silver Award, following its gold win in the regional round under the category Peace, Understanding and Inclusivity. The award was presented to Sangtam by Debbie Hindle, Chair of the ICRT Global, at a ceremony held at India House, London.
The felicitation took place on the sidelines of the World Travel Market (WTM) London 2025, in the presence of visiting dignitaries and official delegations from India.
The evening celebrated the contributions of Indian tourism leaders and innovators, with special recognition of Sangtam’s pioneering work in community-based responsible tourism and sustainable development in remote eastern Nagaland, the release added.
