DIMAPUR, JANUARY 9 (MExN): District Excise personnel on Thursday raided a private residence in Dimapur and arrested a middle-age man for selling illicit narcotic substance. The man identified as L. Phukshing Phom (55 years) was arrested from his residence in LRC colony. According to the Superintendent of Excise, KY Sangtam, the man was selling opium. Opium, packed in small sachets, said to be worth around Rs. 5000 along with bongs (smoking device) were also confiscated from the residence. It was not disclosed from where the man acquired the contraband.
