DIMAPUR, MAY 9 (MExN): In a hit and run case, a 25-year-old biker was knocked down and killed by an unidentified vehicle on May 8 evening at the Purana Bazar road stretch in Dimapur. A police report said the deceased who was riding a scooty was identified as one Merithung Kithan, a resident of 6th mile, Chümoukedima adding that the deceased succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. There were two pillion riders along with the deceased. Of the two, the first identified as Mhayamo Kithan, (22 years) received severe head injury while the second one Zuchamo Patton (25yrs) received minor injury, the police report stated. They have been admitted at a hospital for further medical treatment.
