Phek, July 10 (MExN): Security Forces in a joint operation with Police apprehended an NSCN (IM) cadre in general area Meluri, Phek district on July 8. A press release from the HQ IGAR (N) informed that the arrest was made based on a specific input. The Security Forces in a joint operation with State Police apprehended the cadre who was reportedly involved in illegal extortion activities and recovered one vehicle (Maruti Suzuki 800) and one mobile phone. The apprehended individual along with the recovered items has been handed over to Meluri Police Station, Phek district for further investigation, the release informed.
