Kohima, August 22 (MExN): A cadre of NSCN K led by Nikki Sumi was arrested by Security Forces in a joint operation with State Police in general area of Thahekhu, Dimapur on August 20, informed a press release from the PRO HQ IGAR (N).
“The individual was involved in extortion activities. The troops also recovered one point 32 Pistol and two live rounds,” the release maintained.
The cadre along with the recovered items have been handed over to Sub Urban Police Station Dimapur District, for further investigation, it added.
