TEA HUB Mokokchung, a wholesale business with the concept of offering all varieties of tea under one roof, was formally opened here on July 25 which was inaugurated by Tsukti Longkumer, president of Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI).
“The Oolongs, Greens, Whites and the Blacks - you name it, you find it at TEA HUB Mokokchung,” said Meren Jamir, proprietor of the new business located at AM Road, Alongmen Ward, near Blue Hill Travels station.
“The varieties available at the display counter are innumerable and utmost care has been taken to showcase all the reasonably priced varieties from regular home teas to dearer high grown tea verities including Darjeeling and finest Assam tea,” he added.
He also said that many medicinal tea infusion or Tisanes are available in the tea bag format. “Tea is world’s most consumed beverage. Mokokchung is also a tea lovers district but finding the right tea is really an agony. The answer to this is TEA HUB Mokokchung,” he added.
