DIMAPUR, MAY 7 (MExN): The All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association, Central Body (ANPSA) today urged parents to encourage their children and help teachers who are conducting online classes.

“Online Teaching can never take the place of classroom teaching. Online teaching requires the full participation of parents/guardians especially for younger students,” it stated.

A press release from the ANPSA President, Nini Sekhose and Vice President, Fr Joseph Charalel thanked the Department of School Education and the Nagaland Board of School Education, for their efforts to reach out to students across Nagaland through Door Darshan (DD) and All India Radio (AIR).

It also thanked teachers who took part in the initiative. “We are happy that most of the subject teachers were from private schools in Nagaland. It is our desire to always support the government in any initiative towards education that the government may propose,” the ANPSA said.

The association meanwhile assured that private schools in the State are working very hard conducting online classes through various portals such as messaging apps, learning apps, Google Classroom, Google Meet, Zoom etc. Private School teachers are working harder than ever to prepare quality teaching content for students and present it in a very student friendly manner, it added, and urged parents to encourage their children.
