Zunheboto, November 11 (MExN): The online registration of births and deaths was launched at Zunheboto by Deputy Commissioner & District Chief Registrar of Births and Deaths Zunheboto, Rahul Bhanudas Mali, IAS at DC’s conference hall, Zunheboto on November 11.
A DIPR report stated that DESO & District Registrar of Births and Deaths, Zunheboto, K Rhonbemo Kithanin his welcome address gave a brief overview of civil registration system where births and deaths records are maintained and that now after launching the online registration services, the public can apply for certificates at the comfort of their homes.
He mentioned that Zunheboto is the 4th district in Nagaland, after Kohima, Dimapur and Peren, to launch the online service.
The service has been possible with the help of Department of Information Technology & Communication and one can log in to https://crsorgi.gov.in to avail the services.
DC Zunheboto after launching the service said that he was glad to know that Zunheboto was the fourth district to launch the service and opined that strict scrutiny should be done for issuing the certificates. He said that the department should check that proper documentations are uploaded and verified. He wished the department all the best on behalf of the administration.
