The undersigned would like to draw the attention of NSCN/GPRN (K) authority to fulfill the following demands in order to avoid misunderstanding between your organization and the Akuluto-VK area public.
1.That one of your cadre Shri Lashika S/o Hokuto of Roni Old Village came to Akuluto on the night of 12th June and killed Shri Atoka V Assumi with government weapon. Whatever might have been the case, killing of innocent citizen without trial, in the name of nationalism is not justifiable.
We therefore fervently appeal to your authority to deliver justice, on which principle your government remain steadfast, for his crime against his own blood brothers, betraying the very cause he claim to represent for his countrymen.
2. That Shri Robin of Lumithsami Village was taken by Shri Lashika to call for Shri Atoka, and on accompanying him, he was also critically wounded in the abdomen, arm and thigh, as a result of which his thigh has to be amputated. The victim is currently undergoing treatment at Civil Hospital Mokokchung. We therefore request the GPRN authority to compensate the boy till he is fully recovered as he will remain disabled for the rest of his life.
The reasons for our condition are simple but clear. It is the concern of the peace loving citizens that this accused is prevented from committing further heinous crime against his own people in future. In the light of above mentioned justification, we demand the culprit be arrested and handed over to the state government within 72 hours from the publication of this Press Release.
In the event of non compliance to our two charter of demands, we the general public of Alculuto-VK area shall initiate any appropriate measures that may deem fit and for which we shall not be held responsible.
