Zunheboto, August 31 (MExN): One day awareness programme on oral care was organized by the Dental Department, Hezukhu Memorial Hospital Zunheboto at Cornerstone School for Class 1-4 students.
Dr. Esther, Dental Surgeon, Hezukhu Memorial Hospital Zunheboto, while speaking to the students on the importance of oral care, also showed a demonstration on how to brush the teeth and clean the tongue. She encouraged the students to eat plenty of vegetables and drink milk, which is good for the teeth.
She further emphasised on the students brushing their teeth in the morning and before going to sleep, told them to visit the department in the hospital if they want to fill their cavity and also asked questions to which the students responded enthusiastically.
The programme was attended by the Managing Director and sub-junior teachers of the school and ended with the distribution of tooth brush leaflets on oral care to the students by the Dental Department.
