Team Orca receives champion trophy of 5th VT women’s basketball tournament on October 21.

Team Orca today emerged the champion title of the 5th edition of VT Women’s Basketball Tournament, which concluded today under aegis of Vision Trinity (VT) Club at Loyola Higher Secondary School, Jakhama.

The winning team Orca awarded with Rs 30,000. Touchline Basketball Academy stood runner up and received Rs 15,000. Touchline Basketball Academy also bagged the best discipline team award.
Shimti Mawl of Touchline Basketball Academy bagged the Most Valuable Player award. Sangjem Jamir of Orca secured the most point scorer while Viketule Thami of Loyola bagged the title of Most Promising Player. TMB has been declared as the best jersey team.
Earlier, Ketobu Vitsu, vice president Southern Angami Sports Association graced the closing ceremony and gave away prize to the winners.
