Orenpomo Kikon takes oath as new NPSC member

Kohima, June 8 (MExN): Orenpomo Kikon was sworn-in as a new member of Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) in an oath taking-ceremony held at Dr Imkongliba Ao Hall, Raj Bhavan, Kohima on June 8. 

The Governor of Assam and Nagaland, Prof Jagdish Mukhi administered the ‘Oath of Secrecy’ in the presence of Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, informed a press release from the PRO, Raj Bhavan. Chief Secretary, Nagaland, J Alam, initiated the proceedings of the ceremony.

Kikon, a retired Secretary, Excise & Sericulture, Government of Nagaland, officially assumed office from May 18, 2022 as the third member of NPSC. The four-member Commission is headed by W Honje Konyak and the other members are David Thingchum Sangtam and Thinuokhrienuo Tseikhanuo.
