Mokokchung, September 17 (MExN): Phom Union Mokokchung Town and Phomla Hoichem Mokochung Unit on Friday condemned the alleged murder of a woman in Mokokchung.
Such cruelty to a human being comes as a shock and the perpetrator(s) has no place in a civilized society, the presidents of the organisations stated in a press release. It also urged all the right-thinking individuals and the society to condemn such acts and appealed the competent authority to expedite the investigation and arrest the culprit at the earliest.
Meanwhile, the Eastern Nagaland Women Organisation (ENWO) Mokokchung Unit also appealed the law enforcing agencies to investigate and apprehend the culprit at the earliest. Condemning the incident in a separate press release, the unit stated that such barbaric acts should be condemned by all sections of the society.
The ENWO Mokokchung Unit also conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and expressed hope that justice would be brought soon.
