Organisations demand justice in Parimal Ghosh’s missing case

Dimapur, February 25 (MExN): The Dimapur Naga Students' Union (DNSU) has expressed shock over the incident of Parimal Ghosh, proprietor of Nagaland Cold Drinks who reportedly went missing on February 21 and safely returned home on February 22. DNSU Media Cell in a press release has called upon all right thinking citizen to condemn such act and encourage peaceful co-existence. Further, the Union urged the law enforcing agencies to act and deliver justice at the earliest.

 


The citizens of New Market, Dimapur have also vehemently condemned the incident. A press release issued by Khekishe Aye, GB Ward n-19 New Market, Dimapur stated that business community is at the service of the public and will not allow any anti-social elements to continue indulging in such activities without an iota of fear for the law and also the public. The public of New Market also requests the authorities to book the culprits and award befitting punishment.

 


Members of NPF Minority Wing have condemned ‘the abduction’ of Parimal Ghosh, a renowned businessman, social worker and senior citizen of Dimapur on February 21 who was later released on February 23.” NPF Minority Wing, Central President Bishnu Bhattacharjee in a press release stated that this kind of criminal act on innocent civilian at the heart of the city should be condemned by every right thinking citizens. It also appealed to the law enforcing agencies to arrest the culprit at the earliest and award befitting punishment as per law.
