Kohima, June 8 (MExN): In view of the upcoming 24th Dr. T. Ao Trophy 2025 (Inter-District Football Championship) organized by Nagaland Football Association under the aegis of All India Football Federation, an Organizing Committee have been constituted in the interest of successful management of the tournament.
The tournament will be hosted by Kohima District Football Association from August 1 to 15.
The Committee will be headed by Kevipodi Sophie, MLA as chairman, co-chairman-Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhutso, MLA, member secretary-Deputy Commissioner, Kohima. The members includes; Superintendent of Police, Kohima, Chairman, Kohima Municipal Council, DPO, Land Resources, Executive Engineer, Power, Executive Engineer, PHED (Urban), Executive Engineer, Urban Development, Executive Engineer, PWD (R&B) South Division, Divisional Manager, NST, Kohima, DPRO, Kohima, District Youth Resource Officer, Kohima, District Sports Officer, Kohima, President, Angami Gazetted Officers’ Krotho, President, Angami Sports Association, President, Kohima District Football Association, President, KCCI, State Secretary, Nagaland Bharat Scouts & Guides, President, Nagaland Football Association, Secretary, Nagaland Football Association.
The organizing committee will be responsible for the overall event planning, management and coordination, including formulation of plans for the tournament, venues, and logistics to ensure smooth operations.
The committee will oversee and monitor the day-to-day progress and operations of all the sub-committees and shall coordinate with the Nagaland Football Association and all other affiliated units.
