Oriental College organises Faculty Development Prog

Kohima, March 19 (MExN): Oriental College Kohima organised Faculty Development Programme on the topic ‘Aligning Personal and Professional Development with Institutional Objectives’ today at the college premises. 

Dr. Dominic Meyieho, Controller of Examinations, St. Joseph College (Autonomous), Jakhama as the resource person who was the resource person emphasised that teaching is a sacred profession, where success is measured by effective learning, stated a press release from Oriental College, Kohima.

He maintained that the achievement of learning outcomes is directly linked to well-defined teaching objectives, reinforcing the belief that every student is capable of learning. 

Meyieho added that Outcome-Based Education (OBE) serves as a model for ensuring quality education, with legislation mandating its implementation in all schools. 

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Setuolie Theünuo, Asst. Professor, Department of Commerce, OCK. Welcome Address was delivered by Chubanenla, Dean, Student’s Welfare, OCK. The programme was divided into two sessions.
