An official addressing the state level orientation programme held at Directorate of Agriculture, Conference Hall, Kohima on September 2.
Kohima, September 2 (MExN): One day state level orientation programme on Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (0.1) and RAD, (Rainfed Area development), SMAF (sub mission on Agro Forestry) under National Mission on sustainable agriculture was held at Directorate of Agriculture, Conference Hall, Kohima on September 2.
Addressing at the programme, a press release stated that M Ben Yanthan, Director of Agriculture briefed on the various background of the scheme and programmes, and encouraged all the DAOs and SDAOs in the districts, to includes and give assistance shared to the women folks and youths in implementing of agriculture activities. Yanthan informed all the agriculture officers to have accountability and transparency in records keeping and also in implementing all the activities programmes.
Yanthan also stated that the activities of the department are important and therefore, have to be improvised the department activities on documentation effectively.
N Jacob, Joint director highlighted power point presentation on various activities of the schemes on PMKSY (0.1) RAD and SMAF under the NMSA. He encouraged the agriculture officers that their participation as teamwork will bring achievement in implementing of the various programmes.
All the joint directors of CSS programme also highlighted their various activities programmes. The programme was chaired by S Kivikhu Achumi, ADA.
