Orientation programme at MGM Hr Sec School

Dimapur, April 17 (MExN): An orientation programme for class 12 Arts students of MGM Higher Secondary School, Dimapur was held in the school auditorium on April 17. A total of 100 students attended the programme, which was conducted by resource persons Prof. Ramachandran Nair and AG Kannan, from Kerala.  

According to a press release from the school, the orientation began with warm up exercises to mentally prepare the students for the upcoming activities. They were motivated through activities to build up their confidence level and have a positive impact on their career.  

The resource persons not only encouraged the students to focus on their studies but also taught them the techniques and methods of study, the release stated. Further, they were given awareness on the proper use of mobile phones and increasing danger of cyber crime.  

Many interactive and entertaining sessions were held in between with motivational videos and picture clippings.  

The school principal has informed that the orientation programme will continue for two more days. On April 18, it will be held from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm for classes 12 Science, 12 Commerce and for class 10. On April 20, an orientation will be held for the faculty from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.
