The opening ceremony of the 4th edition of Asia Music Summit 2024 will take place on February 1 at Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima.
Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will grace the opening ceremony at 6:00 pm. Entry to the opening ceremony is free for all. Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) Chairman Theja Meru extended invitation to one and all to join the same.

In Summit programme brochure, Nagaland Governor La Ganesan conveyed appreciation to TaFMA for spearheading to promote a global platform to the younger generation and youth of Nagaland in particular and the rest of the north east region in general.

“It is indeed a rare opportunity for the youth and music enthusiasts to interact, experience and exchange of innovative ideas to create existing new partnership within Asian nations and the rest of the world,” Ganesan stated.

In Summit prog brochure, Nagaland's Chief Minister   Neiphiu Rio stated that the convergence of diverse musical influence is poised to create an atmosphere of collaboration and mutual understanding, transcending borders and enriching our cultural landscape.
“I envision the Asia Music Summit as a gateway for our young musicians and artists to go beyond boundaries and captivate our global audiences with their exceptional talents,” stated Rio.

Kaushik Dutta, Founder and President MusiConnect  Asia stated that Asia Music Summit is a flagship project of MusiConnect Asia and one of its prime objective  is to ensure  that music  of Asia  finds wider appreciation and audience- listenership  and viewership- an effort to unveil the fascinating character of music of Asia.
