Mon, August 12 (DIPR): A one day special outreach programme on 'Aazaadi 70-Yaad Karo Qurbani' was held at Leangha village, Mon district on August 10 organised by the Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Field Publicity, Mon unit.
EAC Mon Sadar, Relise Sangtam, representing the district administration, in his speech called upon the villagers to retrospect on the government programmes and schemes, its impact, identifying and solving the problems and issues of the village in order to march forward. He laid emphasis on quality education and encouraged the citizens to be hardworking, sincere and disciplined. He also challenged the youths to have a competitive spirit, ambition and vision.
