
Kohima, October 29 (MExN): The total number of electors in Nagaland stood at 1,331,555, according to the draft photo Electoral Roll for 2025 published on October 29 by the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Nagaland. Out of these, 666,473 were males while 665,080 were females.
However, in the general electors’ category, there were more females, with 664,965 against 659,264 males, indicating a gender ratio of 1,009, as per the published draft roll. The Electors-Population (EP) ratio of the state is 534.
In a press release, CEO Nagaland, Vyasan R, informed that the period for filing claims and objections will be from October 29 to November 28.
Special camps will be held in all polling stations on November 8, 9, 22, and 23 for receiving claims and objections, it said.
Citizens can file claims and objections with the concerned Booth Level Officer or with the AERO and ERO. Further, forms are available for download on the ECI and CEO’s websites. Applications can also be filed online through voters.eci.gov.in or via the mobile app – VHA (Voter Helpline App) available for download on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, the release added.
The draft Electoral Rolls for 2025 are accessible on the CEO, Nagaland website at https://ceo.nagaland.gov.in.
The draft photo Electoral Roll was released by all election offices across Nagaland on October 29.
