Dimapur, November 1 (MExN): The Nagaland Police has recorded 23,837 registrations for recruitment as of 5:00 pm on November 1, 2025.
Out of these, 21,382 candidates have completed fee payment of Rs 300, it informed.
Accordingly, in an update, the police reminded that considerable number of registered applicants have still not paid the examination fee as mandated and advised those intending to appear to complete the fee payment on or before 3:00 pm of November 7, the last day of application.
The ongoing recruitment drive for 1,176 Constable (General Duty) posts has seen a robust response since the online application portal opened on October 6.
The recruitment process, advertised on September 30 by the Office of the Director General of Police, is being carried out exclusively through the official portal https://nagalandpolicerecruitment.in
The selection will include open rallies at district headquarters, conducted by the Departmental Recruitment Board and District Screening Committees.
Candidates declared medically fit and who clear the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will then sit for a written examination. Final merit will be based on PET and written test scores. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews in a 1:3 ratio.
The eligibility age range is 18–38 years, with education qualifications varying from Class 6 for Backward Tribes to Class 8 for other Indigenous Naga Tribes.
While most posts are district-based according to tribal ratios and population, 144 posts in Dimapur, Chümoukedima, and Niuland are open for all Indigenous Naga Tribes.
