P-Khel traditional market complex inaugurated

Kohima, January 16 (MExN): The Pfuchatsumia Thinuo (khel) traditional market complex was inaugurated by Khriehu Liezietsu, Parliamentary Secretary, Youth Resources & Sports, State Lotteries and Music Task Force, Chairman, DPDB Kohima on January 16 at Ziekezou, Kohima village.   Hoping that the complex will benefit the younger generation, Khriehu congratulated the P Khel on the completion of the Market Complex and appreciated that the construction of a community building does not only need financial contribution, but with the wisdom and cooperation of good leaders.

  On the ongoing road construction under the aegis of the Legislator, Liezietsu appealed the people of the village to maintain cleanliness and sanitation suggesting the villagers to avoid washing of cars by the roadside, avoid dumping of building materials alongside the road, which dirties the road and increase congestion of traffic.   Further updating on his activities, Khriehu mentioned that he has been sponsoring 50% coaching fees to encourage students to appear for civil and competitive exams, at ETEN Coaching Centre, one of the best coaching centres. Therefore, he has urged all those interested students to seize the opportunity and make the best of it.   Seeking the support and cooperation of the people of the village to work hand in hand for the development of the village, Khriehu stated that there are many things to do in the future.   Giving a brief background on the construction of the building, Vilie-o Rutsa, Convenor, Building Committee stated that the construction started on April 9, 2014.
