DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 5 (MExN): The Public Action Committee (PAC) of the Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) today deferred the 12 hour Dimapur bandh from December 7 to December 10. A press note from the PAC media cell stated that a meeting held on December 4 decided to defer the bandh to show their “support and cooperation to the investigation team,” while appreciation the Dimapur Police for setting up an SIT to nab the culprits involved in the Riven Honda Showroom shooting case. “The bandh is called to express our strongest resentment and condemnation to the criminal perpetrators where the PAC shall leave no stone unturned,” it stated. The PAC informed that the bandh will be enforced from 5:00am to 5:00pm on December 10. It meanwhile notified that a meeting will be held on December 6 at 11:00am at the Naga Council Dimapur office to review the arrangements, and informed all PAC members including the Naga Councilors to attend the meeting positively.
