PAC serves seven-day deadline to state govt to arrest culprits of Nov 21 incident

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 22 (MExN): The Public Action Committee (PAC) under the aegis of Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) has demanded the Nagaland Government to immediately arrest the culprits involved in the shooting at Riven Honda show room within a week-time failing which a 12 hours bandh from 5am to 5pm would be imposed on November 30 under Dimapur district.  

The PAC, in a press release, has also demanded that the culprits, suspected to belong to Naga Political Group (s), be identified and terminate them from service with immediate effect.  

The PAC also demanded additional security forces for Dimapur in order to contain the present situation of illegal collection by the NPGs and various organizations. It also directed organizations and welfare union not to ask for donations or sell items from shop to shop.  

It also demanded that the government enact criminal laws where a criminal would be non-bailable for at least one calendar year similar to that of Maharashtra laws in order to contain criminal activities in the state.  

Meanwhile, business communities have been informed to install CCTV in their respective shop and premises with immediate effect.
