Dimapur, May 18 (MExN): NLA Pubic Account Committee will carry out ‘On the Spot Verification” of various projects under Home (PEP) and 15th NAP (IR) Battalions in connection with examination of C&AG of India Report 2013-14.
The Committee will be lead by PAC Chairman Nagaland Legislative Assembly, CM Chang along with Commissioner & Secretary and 13 other Officials and Staff, informed a press note from Commissioner & Secretary N Benjamin Newmai. The Committee will inspect Home (PEP) from 9-10 and 15th NAP (IR) Battalions on May 22 and 27, it said.
It will also visit the 9th NAP (IR) Battalion Saijang Peren district and 15th NAPO (IR) Mahila Battalion Mpetsa, Dimapur on May 22.
On 27 May, the PAC will visit 10th NAP (IR) Battalion Zhadima., Kohima.
In this regard, the PAC has also directed all the concerned Department representatives to be present at the project sites with relevant information to assist the committee as per the programme.
All the PAC members are also requested to participate in the verification exercise it added.
