DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 31 (MExN): The Open Futsal Tournament organized by Dimapur Changki Students Union at Backyard Futsal Ground, Nuton Bosti concluded on October 30 with a fiercely contested final game between Pacifists FC and Tribals FC. 

In the finals, Pacifists FC defeated title favorites Tribals FC in a close encounter through a solitary goal scored by Moti. 
In the first semis, Tribals FC thrashed Win Hurricane FC 5-0 in full time. Apu scored 4 goals and Eiben scored the other goal for Tribals FC. In the second semi-final game, Pacifists FC won a thriller against Iron Ground FC via tie-breaker 2-1. Both teams were locked 1-1 at full time. 

In the closing ceremony, Dr. Temjen Longchari, proprietor of Dental Touch in his speech mentioned that sportspersons should have a vision about where they will stand in the next two to three years time. They should work hard to compete in national and international stage in future. He also congratulated the Dimapur Changki Students Union for conducting the tournament successfully. 

Champions Pacifists FC took home Rs 30,000 in prize money, while runner up Tribals FC was given Rs 15,000. Meanwhile, Tribals FC players swept both the individual awards with the Golden Boot prize being awarded to Apu and Eshong as the Best Goalkeeper.
