Niuland, July 1 (MExN): The Sub Divisional Education Officer, Niuland in collaboration with the Directorate of Science & Technology, Kohima organised a district level painting and poster making competition.
The event was held on the theme of 2023 National Science Day, ‘Global Science for Global Wellbeing’ for schools under Niuland district on June 30 at the office of the SDEO Niuland, Erali Swu, SDEO (DEO Charge) Niuland stated in a press release.
The SDEO (DEO Charge) in her address exhorted the students on the importance of science and technology and urged them to have a scientific approach to achieve integration of body, mind and soul which will in turn bring about a complete set of wellbeing. Later, she handed prizes for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions, which were bagged by Isavi Chishi of Reginald Hughes Shaw Memorial, Tovi S Achumi of GHSS Niuland and Ilito Achumi of Modern School Niuland respectively.
