Phek, October 5 (MExN): The Phek Area Mothers' Association (PAMA) and Chakhesang Mothers' Association (CMA) have condemned the act of Surhoseyi (Kuvethi) Keyho, who allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl at his residence at Bethany-I colony, Phek Town.
According to a condemnation note jointly appended by PAMA President Besuvolu Venuh and CMA President Zaposhelu Venuh, the accused reportedly raped the victim on several occasions till the incident was revealed by the victim some days back.
The PAMA and CMA termed the act of the accused as “senseless and barbaric and is beyond human tolerance.” Urging upon the competent authority to award stringent punishment, the two bodies further appealed to the authority not to give bail to the accused.
The PAMA and CMA also conveyed sympathy to the victim and appealed to all the right thinking citizens to condemn the same in the strongest term.
