PAMA firmly supports NLTP Act

PAMA officials and others during executive meeting at Phek town on February 12.

Phek, February  13 (MExN): The Phek Area Mothers’ Association (PAMA) held its annual executive meeting at Phek Town on February 12 last and resolved to uphold and follow the resolutions of the Chakhesang Mothers’ Association (CMA).

The Association resolved to firmly support the NLTP Act and strongly condemns any action that create disturbance in public places.

PAMA resolved to take strict action against those involve in illicit drug activities within its jurisdiction.

The meeting resolved to protect women’s welfare and decided to take strict action against anyone found involving in harassment and abuse of women.

It also resolved to strongly condemn the child abuse and to take legal action against the offenders.

Earlier, PAMA advisor Zaposhelii Venuh exhorted the gathering.

The meeting was chaired by PAMA vice president Wekute-u Chizo while PAMA president  Akole Vero delivered welcome address.
