Longleng, February 13 (MExN): The BJP leaders of Longleng district felicitated the intending party candidate for the 13th Nagaland general assembly election, S. Pangnyu Phom on February 7 at its treasurer’s residence in Longleng.
Pangnyu pledged to do his best for the all round development of the state and welfare of the people if he is elected, according to a press release from B. Chemben Phom, general secretary & organizer, BJP Longleng district. He further said realizing the fact that BJP stood for anti-corruption and development he insisted on taking the party ticket.
Meanwhile, Pangnyu applauded the present office bearers of BJP Longleng district, headed by B Ajoy Phom, for their “tireless and selfless effort in uplifting the party and its office,” the release added.
President of BJP Longleng district, B Ajoy Phom expressed gratitude to Pangnyu for his “rightful decision” in joining BJP for the forthcoming general election.
Other members who spoke during the programme were Ngaibang Phom, president, 50 Mandal Longleng and C Chongmei Phom, State Council Member, 50 Mandal.
