Pangnyu reviews projects’ progress

Kohima, March 8 (MExN): Minister of Health and Family Welfare (H&FW), S Pangnyu Phom called for the first state review meeting with the consultant, contractors, and state officials along with Secretary H&FW to review the project progress of Medical College, Phriebagei and TCCC NHAK. The meeting was held at IDSP hall, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare.

The project update of Nagaland Medical College was presented by the consultant and open discussion with the contractor and the department was initiated in the meeting. 

Pangnyu said that the deliberated agendas should be implemented to rectify the prevailing issues in order to accelerate the project. Phom also encouraged them to work harder for the success of the project, while ruing that the projects are facing many hardships, especially the land instability, which is delaying the project progress.

Earlier in the morning, the officers under Directorate of H&FW led by Principal Director, Dr Vizolie Z Suokhrie inspected the Medical College site.
