Wokha, June 3 (MExN): Pangti Village gate was inaugurated by Thungdeno Mozhui Project Director, DRDA Wokha on April 1 in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Wozope and BDO Sanis Hondak Konyak the chief guest told the participants that all the job card holders, daily wage will be credited directly to their respective account which will be linked to Aadhaar. She also emphasized that where there is no hindrance there will be development.
Deputy Commissioner, Wezope urged the villagers to continue co-operating for development since Pangti Village is the major land donor for NEEPCO which plays a major role in Land Owner union (LOU) and urged to be the role model for other villages for development and co-operation.
Hondak Konyak, BDO, Sanis said that monetary assistance is given to the Villagers but less is implemented for development, Pangti village set an example by constructing the village gate for hospitality purposes and urged the VDB to do the exemplary work in the future. The Programme was chaired by Zanbemo W. Kithan, Dedication of village gate by Pastor N. ManglioNgullie, Pangti Village, Welcome address by Yanbemo Patton, President PVSU.
