Dimapur, April 21 (MExN): Candidates now have the option of taking the AIMA Management Aptitude Test (MAT) in both Paper Based Test (PBT) mode or Computer Based Test (CBT) mode (at a discounted add-on fee); in more than 35 cities in India.
Over 600 recognized B-Schools including Management Institutes, University Affiliated Colleges and University Departments across the country use MAT scores to screen candidates for admission into their programs.
Although every MAT score is valid for one year the candidates could choose to take MAT more than once with a view to improve the score. They could use the best of their scores when actually applying for admission to a B-School.
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized test being administered since 1988; is approved by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, as a national level test for admission to PGDM, MBA and allied courses. It is one of the largest and reputed entrance tests of its kind in India, and is being administered four times a year so as to give a unique flexibility to the candidates.
The forthcoming MAT is scheduled on May 6 20 (PBT) and May 20 (CBT) with the last date for registration being April 27, and the e-bulletin giving complete details is available on the AIMA website www.aima.in
