Dimapur, July 9 (MExN): Dimapur District Legal Services Authority (DDLSA) conducted one day Para Legal Volunteers training-cum-workshop programme today at the Frontal office of DDLSA.
In the two sessions of the Training/workshop programme, topics on Role & Duties of Para Legal Volunteers, Government Schemes and National Legal Services schemes, 2015 were imparted and practical session was conducted to enhance the skills of Para Legal Volunteers in various scenarios such as to draft FIR, Applications, Affidavit, recording, and reporting Domestic Violence Cases.
Daily Activity Registers were issued among the Para Legal Volunteers and proper instructions and detail guidelines were imparted on the maintenance of the Register. N.K. Keny (Para Legal Volunteers ), a lady who believes in empowering the disempowered through the power of Law, and also the recipient of the 2015 Award of the National and Zonal Best Para Legal Volunteers, shared her experience as well as her success story and further encouraged the trainees to serve the community.
