Zunheboto, June 13 (MExN): Department of Christian Education, Sumi Baptist Church Zunheboto (SBCZ) organized a two-day parents’ retreat on June 10-11 at South point (E) prayer fellowship here.
The resource person, Dr. Phanenmo Kath, Lecturer in Pastoral Counseling and Psychology and chaplain at Eastern Theological College, Jorhat, Assam, presented on how parents should have better relationship with their kids. He covered the following topics: Holistic child development, children and media, sex education and art of presenting, marriage and family counseling.
Moti Kath, Superintendent of Children Sunday School, RBC Chumukedima, led the praise & worship.
The two-day retreat ended with special prayer for all the parents and teachers by Rev. S. Yevito Sumi, Senior Pastor, SBCZ.
