‘Pariksha Parv 2.0’ to change perspective of children towards exam

Kohima, January 24 (MExN): The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) will be launching a month-long campaign ‘Pariksha Parv 2.0’ intended to “change the outlook and perspective of children towards examinations.” 


Director, School Education, Wonthungo Tsopoe in a notification stated that the campaign will provide a platform for students to talk about their concerns and interact with renowned counselors and psychologists.


In this regard, NCPCR will conduct various activities including: Radio spots and jingles from February 5 to March 31; live streaming sessions from February 10 to March 2020 on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to enable students to interact with experts to reduce exam stress and provide checklist to students to analyse their stress level. Detailed information on the activities will be available in the NCPRC website. 


All schools, hostels and coaching institutions where children are residing have been directed to put up a copy of the notification on their notice boards and encourage students, teachers and parents to join NCPCR’s live streaming sessions at NCPCR twitter and facebook account. 

 

SCERT Nagaland informs 

SCERT Nagaland in conformity with the NCPCR will be celebrating Pariksha Parv 2.0 with the objective to create sensitization on the issue of stress, anxiety in students on January 28, 11:00 am at SCERT, Kohima. In the technical session a State Level phase I Pariksha Pav 2.0 for the Heads and Principals of District Institutes of Education & Training (DIETs), college headmasters and principals of higher secondary schools on the topics ‘stress in schools and its management, examination stress, tips for parents and teachers on examination’ will be discussed.
