New Delhi, November 15 (MExN): Participating in the conference of Ministers and Secretaries of the States /UTs in-charge of Youth Affairs and Sports at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi today, Nagaland’s Parliamentary Secretary for Youth Resources & Sports, Khriehu Liezietsu pointed out that Nagaland youth have a lot of potential in athletic and sports. Stating that the youth of the State are very talented, especially in football, sepaktakraw and taekwondo, he said issues of infrastructure and facilities like best coach need to be taken up at the earliest to facilitate those young upcoming talented youth. The Parliamentary Secretary hoped that by 2020 and 2024 Olympic, the youth from the State will represent the country. He was accompanied by Kuolie Mere, PRO, Nagaland House, New Delhi.
The conference was attended by Lt. Governor, Sports Ministers and Secretaries from all over the States/Union Territories of the country, said a press release from PRO, Nagaland House, New Delhi.
