KOHIMA, AUGUST 30 (MExN): In view of the restoration work of NH-29 near Dzüdza Bridge under Sechü Zubza, which has been partially restored, the DC Kohima has informed that the above mentioned stretch of the National Highway will remain closed to all kinds of traffic from 6 AM to 7 PM from August 31 till September 2.
However, partial opening of the highway for heavy vehicles shall be allowed in between 7 PM to 6 AM for which vehicles carrying essential commodities would be given priority. Heavy passenger vehicles like buses shall not be allowed till further orders, the DC through an order informed on Friday.
Further the general commuters have been requested to follow the travel advisory issued earlier as the stretch of the highway is not serviceable for small and medium vehicles as of now.
