Chümoukedima, February 15 (MExN): The Alumni Association of Patkai Christian College (AAPCC) organised an Alumni Sunday at the Bundrock Chapel Hall, PCC, Chümoukedima on February 15.

Delivering the message, Krodilhou Vimera (Class of 2006) reflected on his college days and shared how campus life helped shape his character and strengthen his faith. He said that Patkai has the ability to mould individuals and prepare them according to their calling and purpose.

Citing from the Book of Isaiah Chapter 6, Vimera spoke about the prophetic calling of Isaiah. He said that true transformation begins with encountering God’s holiness, acknowledging personal shortcomings, and responding willingly to His call. He emphasized that responsibility cannot be forced but must be accepted with a willing heart.

Relating the message to present-day society, he pointed to issues such as moral decay, corruption, division and hypocrisy. He opined that reform must begin with personal introspection and spiritual renewal. Quoting Micah 6:8, he reminded the gathering that true religion is not about rituals, but about living a transformed life that brings positive change to society.

Tiakhala Jamir Shimray, in her exhortation, encouraged the congregation to pursue education grounded in faith, character and truth. She urged both students and alumni to reflect on their personal growth and spiritual journey, to remain anchored in faith and truth, and to strive for positive impact in the society society through wisdom and service.

Earlier, the programme was led by NeikhaloSono, scripture reading was done by Limnukla Jamir, a special number was presented by Rokoseno Zhasa, and the benediction was pronounced by Rev Dr Vichiikho Ngukha, Chaplain, PCC.
