Chümoukedima, January 22 (MExN): The Department of Mass Communication of Patkai Christian College inaugurated the fifth edition of its three-day Campus Film Festival at the Bundrock Chapel on January 22.
Principal Thepfuvilie Pierü addressed the opening session. The event commenced with a filmmaking and photography workshop conducted by key collaborator Sony.
Sony C-Pro Specialist Md Noor Alam led the first session, providing insights on camera technology, covering the essentials of photography and cinematography. Sony Alpha Specialist Saroj Kumar Dora conducted the second session, speaking on the continuous learning journey in the creative field and screening an illustrative travel video.
The festival also showcased eight short films from filmmakers across the Northeast. A workshop on film production with Meghalaya-based filmmaker Tyrel Reuben Lyngdoh will be a key highlight on the second day, the college stated in a press release.
