
Kiphire, June 28 (MExN): The Pungro Area Village Council Association (PAVCA) has expressed dissatisfaction over the functioning of SBI Pungro, owing to acute shortage of staffs, causing hardship and inconvenience to the general public. PAVCA, President, Y. Chipong and Secretary, H. Hanso in a press release stated that SBI Pungro branch which falls under Kiphire district covers more than 52 villages and the public of Pungro sub-division are facing problems to open saving account due to the shortage of staff.
The Association alleged that the public are also “facing immense hardship and problem even to withdraw their own saving money due to limited cash in stock.”
Therefore, the Association earnestly requests the SBI concerned authority to look into the matter and take appropriate measure against the shortage of staffs and improve its banking system. It further appealed to Assistant General Manager Regional Bank office Dimapur to deploy additional staff at SBI Pungro for the welfare of the peoples.
