Dimapur, April 4 (MExN): The landowners and beneficiaries affected by the construction of new BG Railway Line from Dhansiri (Dimapur) to Zubza (Kohima) from Ch. 18.30 km to 21.7 km & 25.05 km to 38.35 km are informed that the payment of compensation for the land, building and other items have been fixed in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur from 10:00 AM onwards as under; April 11- Chumoukedima, New Chumoukedima and Kupuhe villages; and April 12- Molvom, Ruzaphema, Socunoma, Moava, Zuikhu and Khaibung villages.
The Dimapur DC in a press release has informed the Chairmen/Hd GB and other members of the concerned village council are hereby directed to be present physically for identification of landowners and beneficiaries during disbursal of cheques. Failing which, payment shall be withheld. All the affected landowners and beneficiaries are hereby directed to come “In Person” along with the identification proof; Bank passbook, Passport photos (5 copies) etc. “Payment to any other representative other than the concerned person shall not be entertained,” the DC added.
