Dimapur, January 19 (MExN): The Christian Education Ministry under Phom Baptist Christian Association (PBCA) held its first ever Christian Education Ministry zone-wise convention under the theme ‘Kahvang Shah Homei Changpüshapü Yangnyu” (Abundant Life through the word of God) based on the Bible verse John 10:10 from January 17 to 19 at Signal Phom Baptist Attoi, Dimapur.
The Convention was taken up under the leadership of O. Yannyang Anghlee, Christian Education Secretary, PBCA. Speaking on the occasion, he said that since the secular forces are very strong these days and impacts the young children easily, it is very important and necessary to imprint the word of God on these young minds.
Altogether Christian Education Ministry from six Churches under this zone with over 300 delegates participated in the convention. Different speakers shared the word of God to the children in each session. The children participated in various competitions like Bible recitation with action (Primary and Junior), Solo (Male &Female) and Children Choral voice. This Convention also saw a lot of enthusiastic parents actively attending the sessions and encouraging the children.
